5/2/2006 Ka..ka..cau..cau..Wanna to blog, but my hubby "yi..yi...o..o..." (making noise) there, wants me to cook earlier for him. Tomorrow will be going to Guang Zhou （广州) for 2 nights to visit my hubby's uncles and aunties. Aiyo, update when i'm free again.

4/28/2006 Wandering to MacauI went to Macau yesterday morning and back to home was already 8pm. My initial intend was to buy HK's magazine and have a bowl of steam double layer of milk egg, for sure both of my wishes have achieved.
I was scouting to "New Yaohan", have a "no intention" (没有目的) to there and just shop shop (闲逛) a bit. I shop to "Chicco" (famous brand for baby), wow, the branded strollers are expensive (MOP1680 as M'sia RM840), so does those high chairs, baby cots and etc...
Later, i shop to Avent (Mummy favourite's) as i want to buy a manual breastpump as keeping for my second one since i know buying in M'sia is more expensive than buying here. Badly, the Avent sold in "New Yaohan" is more expensive than the Mothercare in Hong Kong, i finally switched my mind as i can buy from HK later.
After wandering in Yaohan, i was heading to custom. It was so crazy that i hold on the foreigner lane for more than 1 hour, yesterday just Thursday, is it will be stagnated if on weekend? I think the government there should consider a good solution for precious foreigners as our AirAsia already landed on their parking apron and means that will be a lot of foreigners crossing by the custom to enter in Zhu Hai(珠海), China.
After over the long queue, i did my shopping in the underground shopping centre. There're few hundreds of shoplots there, i think i can have a wonderful shopping if i didn't bring Jo along. I did a survey on DVD, so cheap as it around RMB5 per piece. For the cartoons like Chicken Little, Brother Bears, Finding Nemo and etc just at RMB15. Joshua loves Chicken Little very much....That's China!!!
China has a long holidays from tomorrow onwards till next Wednesday, is celebrating Labour Day!! 4/22/2006 Steam double layer of milk egg "双皮奶"清楚地记得第一次吃双皮奶是在香港吃的，牛奶很醇香，蛋很滑。其实好的双皮奶是讲求牛奶和蛋的融和，从香港吃到澳门，再从澳门吃到中山 (孙中山的故乡)还是觉得香港的是最好吃。
我是爱吃甜品之人，牛油芝士牛奶蛋糕饼干都爱吃，而且我还能做好一手顶呱呱的芝士蛋糕 (死要脸！)，终于我决定自己来亲手做份双皮奶，材料很简单，只要一瓶鲜奶，几粒蛋和一些白糖就可以了。

4/21/2006 SPACE down2 days i can't login to my MSN Space, but my friends in Malaysia were reading my SPACE whenever i said my SPACE is down here.
I did surveys on the other MSN Spacer here, for sure everyone encountered the same problems, so i tried to logon my SPACE by using secure tunnel, like:

I could login to my SPACE by using secure tunnel...question arise, why MSN SPACES in China have been blocked for 2 days, is it those higher people want to check something, or MSN Spacers going to rise up turmoil....crazy!!!Of course, everything has its own reason!! FruitsSeldom see these fruits in Malaysia. Could see the peaches in fruit stalls occasionally in KL. Badly, i never see peaches in KK, Sabah. I tried these fruits here, i like the loquat very well, sweet, juicy and even cheaper.

Sick AgainJo having a bad cough, i don't know why, is it because the weather? Suddenly hot then suddenly cold, is it a symptom of welcoming the Spring? Coughing is quite difficult to be cured, what is the best medicine to cure cough? Headache, once he gets cough, mummy would become busier to clean up the vomiting things. Why vomit is associated with the cough?
** I read an article stated that chocolate can cure bad cough, but i'm not dared to try as i know chocolate can cause phlegm too! ** 4/18/2006 Boyish Nature老公说儿子的嘴巴现在越来越烦，还没真正说的流利都觉得烦，等流利后就会更烦，现在骂儿子他还会懂得顶嘴，迟点都不知怎么有耐心来 "应酬"他。儿子一边看电视一边在说话，我在一边写blog都觉得他的声音格外刺耳。他到了两岁才真正学讲话，而我也真正到了现在才相信"反事都有定时"，为什么我这样说:
一岁半前儿子不爱读书，不管我在旁陪读都好都不能培养他主动拿书看的习惯。而我每次拿起书他都好抗拒。 过了一岁半后，儿子总主动拿起他的书，而且还要父母不停的 "说书"给他听，当然他还会跟着大人们一起念。如果半途停了，他还烦着哭闹说"book....book...要book"，有时听到他说book我都觉得很烦。
两岁前儿子总不吃肉，我给他尝一小口，而他也总吐出来。 两岁后，每天吃饭的时候他总要说 "肉。。肉"，好像无肉不欢似的。
两岁前儿子总不爱说话，连爸爸妈妈也不爱叫，他也重来不表达自己要的东西。 儿子在 23个月才真正开始说话，现在25个月了，会说好多的话，双字不比单字多，最近我教他说"我爱耶稣"和"我要吃饭"，他每次说完都会很高兴的拍手，虽然不是说的很标准，但还是听得明白。现在听到他叫爸爸妈妈就烦了，肯定他又有所要求。
以前的儿子很温顺，重来不会打架。 现在的他开始很霸道，一些小事故都会和其他的小朋友争来争去，甚至推人打人都一流。 男孩始终是男孩，我知道打架顽皮惹事的一天始终会到来，当然他吃滕条的机会也越来越多， 3岁定80，现在不教几时教?
长大的孩子当然要求也越来越多。
星期六我们到了澳门去玩，当天是进入春天以来最冷的一天，中午时分大慨才13度，而且还括着强风，我们去吃了驰名的猪扒包，闻名不如一见，还要等上半个钟才有机会吃的到，最特别的是不用ORDER，等伙记拿着食物出来时去枪自己所要吃的就可以了。傍晚时分我们就回中山了，在巴士上我还打了儿子几巴掌，他坏蛋到要在车上走来走去。 晚上老公忍无可忍地用衣架打儿子，儿子哭着来找我，我也很不客气地打埋他一份，我说他越来越没有礼貌，爱顶嘴，爱争东西，老公看着 bible他都要去抢，又不肯刷牙，洗了头又不肯抹干，冲了凉又还要玩水，抹干身又不肯穿衣，一边喂他吃饭他就一边吐饭出来，我煮饭的时候他又总爱吵我，我说带他带到我自己都会发脾气。儿子一直地哭，其实都很心疼他，老公还对他说"爸爸以后都不再打Jojo"，而做妈妈的却说"不听话就要打"。
星期天， Happy Easter，儿子再一次的捣蛋，他在教堂里大喊大闹，我很生气的抱了他出去，他还不停得挣扎要自己走来走去，又一直不停的哭，我更生气地打他的脸，为什么要打他的脸，因为他穿的太厚了，唯有脸是最好的地方。他的脸被我打到红红肿肿，甚至被我打到不敢再哭，可是没一会儿，他又恢复要捣蛋的样子。男孩就是特别"牛精"吗?4/13/2006 Want or Don't wantmummy: 要不要和爸爸一起? 我还以为他一直答 "要"后会混乱，谁知当我问他要不要和狗猫一起的时候，他即然会答"不要"，原来他还很专心听我的问题。Clever BOY!! 4/9/2006 Exhausted Night due to Jo feverJo started fever on Monday, his fever subsided after the medicine, but the matter become more seriously on Tuesday, he suddenly fever again after his afternoon nap, by the time onwards his fever was totally out of my control, paraceptamol wasn't able to free him from the heaty. He took barley besides of the medicine, i fed him a plenty of water, but out of his normal manner that he rejected to drink, i suspected he got sore throat and i planned to bring him to doctor on next morning.
On the Thursday morning, i brought him to doctor that locate nearby my house, this lousy doctor couldn't check Jo's throat properly and simply told me that was sore throat infection. He said he got flu too, i told the doctor my son didn't get flu and how come he insisted to say he got infected. He gave me some antibiotic and some herbs medicine. Jo didn't seem to be getting back to normal after taking the medicine here, he has high fever around 39 degree, i was quite panic to see him laying on the bed quietly and his lip and face were so red. He has low appetite too, not asking any milk and rice. Beside that, he kept vomitting out everything. At 4pm, i quickly brought him to hospital, it was raining heavily at that time, i called the taxi and carried Jo down, i was so scared he got wet as he doesn't have rain coat, i'm so regretted why i didn't buy one for him this morning as i saw one at China Dollar 39, at first i thought it's not worth to buy and not always have to use it, only at that moment i felt totally regretted. Now, i know i have to invest one for him, who knows the unforeseen incident? At the hospital, the doctor talked nonsense to me, she suspected Jo having appendicitis and insisted him to admit to hospital. I asked her how to make sure that it's appendicitis, after asking, she pressed Jo tummy hardly, for sure JO would cry and moved his body away from her hands, she told me is appendicitis after this repeating actions. Then i asked her how many days should him to stay in hospital, she told me she don't know too as maybe need to take operation asap. My eyeballs almost drop when i heard about operation, at first, i don't believe the doctor's skill here, second, i didn't pack Jo's stuff, third, Jo need to sleep with other kids, i mean he's easily to get infected of other sickness. I asked about the optional, she said no excuse as he must stay in hospital in case his appendicitis get seriuosly. I don't have any knowledge about the appendicitis, i don't kow how to diagnosis acurately, i asked the doctor whether could have an x-ray, she said no, i asked about the medicine, she said no again, then i asked her how to make sure it's an appendicitis, she talked funny again as she said just staying in hospital and they would do what they should do. I almost fainted to hear those nonsense, i called my hubby and told him all the doctor said, he finally made a decision that bring Jo down to Macau hospital. Hubby reached home at 6:30pm, we quickly moved our luggage into the car in case of we need to stay overnight in Macau. Jo was sleeping throughout the way to Macau, hubby asked me to sleep a while as it might be very busy in hospital later, i couldn't sleep as i was too worried about Jo's condition even though i know there would be another 1 hour distance to Macau. The rain still falling, the weather make me more upset as how to enter the custom later, how to walk through the long roadside to reach the arriving hall, how's the condition of the custom gate, would it be sardines again, everything came and gone that kept flashing in my mind. We arrived at the "Gong Bei Custom" at 7:45pm, it was quite cold but i didn't wear a coat as it was too rushing to go to Macau. The condition of the custom was definitely OK and we took less than half an hour to cross both China and Macau customs. Joshua was too tired, he closed his eyes most of the time, but when I filling the departure forms he suddenly opened his eyes and pointed to his passport photo and uttered out "Jo Jo", he fell asleep after saying his name. His face and lip were redness, even his body was like "fire", i wasn't sure about the temperature on that time, i know he was very hot and the hot made him dizzy all the time long. I bought one termometer that put under the armpit from China, but i never expect it would spoil after 1 time using, although i have the ear thermometer, i still couldn't believe the accuracy from the ear thermometer as last time my paed told me temperature from under armpit is accurated than others. I feel like i was being cheated by the pharmacy man, i even couldn't stop myself on blaming the China's product, how could it be so lousy? We reached the "Kiang Wu Hospital" at 8:20pm, it was quite troublesome to register as we're foreigners, i told the nurse my son might be have appendicitis, she tested his temperature by putting the thermometer under his "pat pat", he was 39.1 degree and the nurse graded us as third stage, it means first stage is for all the emergencies, second stage should wait for the turn not more than a hour, third stage should wait for not more than 2 hours and the fouth only be served if there are no first to thrid stages's cases. For my running numbers, i need to wait for another 28 patients, Jo kept dizzy while we were waiting. I asked hubby to buy a Ribena as I really hope Jo could drink his water by mixing with Ribena. In China, there is no Ribena, i was so regretted why i didn't bring one from M'sia, even regretted why i didn't buy it from Hong Kong as i saw it in supermarket last week when having a trip there, i didn't buy because it is too expensive, it's HKD55, is really not worth to buy as it almost RM28 in M'sia Ringgit, if in M'sia, is less than RM10 can buy 1 bottle. Without the choice, bought from Macau at HKD50, expensive but this time feel like it's very worth to buy.
Jo start drinking his Ribena, but suddenly he vomitting the Ribena out, it wet my pant and wet himself, hubby washed him in toilet, there was a nice lady borrow her coat to Jo while the time i was looking for his clothes. After vomitting, he fell asleep again, mummy first time seeing Jo like this, no appetite for food and no milk all day long, he would vomit everything out once i forced him to drink water. But, when fever it can't be no water right? After 1 and half hour waiting, it finally turn to us, doctor said Jo needed a jab to cool down his fever. When Jo on the bed, he took a look on us a while and shut down his eyes again. When the nurse wanted to jab him, he cried very loud and kept saying "bu yao" (don't want), of course finally he was being jabbed. After the injection, he cried and pointing his pat pat said "tong-tong" (painful), his temper was out of control, but we tried to soothing him without scolding him. I asked doctor about the appendicitis, doctor told me it's not possible to have it as Jo didn't cry when doctor pressing his tummy. He said might be a virus infection that make the fever not subsiding. I felt comfortable when the doctor told me this, i even comfortable with all the medicines as it's totally like the medicine in M'sia. I'm not saying the China doctors are lousy, but they give me unethical image and somemore Jo already get used of the western medicine, his body won't have any reactions while taking herbs medicine, like example, his fever won't subside after taking the herbs medicine this morning after seeing the lousy doctor at my place.
After the injection, we should wait for another 45 minutes, we could leave the hospital if Jo fever started to subside. I put jo sleeping on the chair, he kept dreaming at that time, he shouted "tong-tong" (painful) again but his eyes still closing. After a while, he said "wu-wu" by showing his hand like aeroplane flying, of course, his eyes still closing, And after a while, he said "kai-kai" (shopping) again, really pity him, fever made him dreams non-stop.
At 10:35pm, Jo temperature dropped to 38 degree and we're allowed to leave the hospital. After leaving the hospital, we went to 7-11 to buy some magazines and milk, i haven't had my dinner on that time, somemore, i was too tired, tired for rushing to everywhere. Then we headed to custom to go back to Zhong Shan. Hubby's company driver still waiting us at "Gong Bei custom", too appreciating him for waiting us 3++ hours there. We reached our home at 12:15am, while the time still raining non-stop....but my heart felt better as seeing Jo fever was subside.
This is my rushing night to Macau, very exhausted...
4/8/2006 Lazy BugsHui Sia is in China now, just back on 27/3, time passes so fast that i have over my 2 1/2 months holiday in Sabah. As usual, life is boring here and everyday is a cooking and to be a maid day!
I'm so lazy, no mood to update my blog, no interest to surf net, but my only hobby is reading Hong Kong magazine...i can go down to Macau just because i want to buy Hong Kong magazine (1 hour distance, not including passing the custom), so like idiot, huh!!??? 1/13/2006 Hong Kong TripWe had our Hong Kong trip on 01.01.06, you won't believe as we had day trip to there this time also, we was initially planned to stay overnight in Shen Zhen (to save hotel cost) but finally we took the last ferry back to Zhong Shan. Why we finally to swerve our mind? It was because we bought too many things until we were not able to carry anymore. Both of my hubby and me were backpack a bag that full of clothes (for staying overnight), then after 7 hours shopping in Hong Kong, we suddenly got more loadings and somemore we needed to change our turn to carry our big bear ~ Joshua. So, how could we line up at Shen Zhen's custom with lot of bags?
Hong Kong had crazy sales at this new year day, crazy, so crazy!! My hubby kept mumbling hysterically on the way back as he said we used money like using water. Really? Ya, a bit, but the stuffs there are too cheap, if i don't buy it would like so sorry to myself. Anyway, he was the fruitful buyer than me.

Recently too lazy to update my blog, i was sick since Christmas, diarrhea, fever, sore throat (Quinsy) and vomit all coming to visit me, but blissfully i lost 5kg. At every morning i even can see my weight below 60, you know, i never seen the scale showing below 60 after having Joshua, that's the miracle.
Going to leave this winter soon, i hate to be cold when i am here but i know i'll miss the cold when i am in Malaysia. Cold cracks my hands, legs and heels, i hate to touch the water especially in kitchen, the cold like frostbiting my nerve. All my winter clothes are going to pack soon....when i'm here again, it'll be a SPRING time!!

12/15/2005 Trip to MacauDestination - Macau
Date - 11/12/2005, Sunday
Bus Fare - RMB50 for returning fare for 2 adults. (Only RM25 in M'sia)
We had our trip to Macau this morning, supposingly to leave my house at 10am, but my lousy washing machine had being the culprit that delayed my leaving time. We left at 11am to bus-stand and rushing for 11:40am bus to Zhu Hai's custom. We reached Zhu Hai (珠海) at 12:40 noon, i started to see the crowds at the custom once i stepped my feet down from the bus, i had a turning back mind as i hate to queue up the lines but just don't want to chill off the chance of getting my first family trip in China.
Fortunately we are foreigners that have a short line to wait for our turn. It took half hours to depart from Zhu Hai's custom, and another half hours to enter into Macau. Both of my hubby and myself like "straggle houseflies" that wandering on the road without target heading place, of course we didn't plan well for the trip and the moment we started grumbling on each other for improper planning to Macau. Luckily we finally found a famous place to scout to, we took a bus to Xin-Ma-Lu (新马路), it is a place with lot of retail shops at your left and right side and also a famous gathering place for youngster, i think even for Philippines :)
We visited to a Roman Catholic church in Xin-Ma-Lu, it's so splendid (don't compare with Europe) that i couldn't control myself to shoot photo even it's not allowed to do this. I think my camera flash was disturbing to those holy prayers, i know i was so annoying, hehehe, but i still managed to get one dark dark photo due to my over-nervous shooting.
We just have road-shopping and I was busying to look at those pretty girls and my Joshua. Joshua was excited too to wander on the crowded road with seeing all the pretty legs and buttocks due to his minimum height. After that, we were going to Da-San-Ba (大三巴牌坊), the idols on Da-San-Ba are fulled with pigeon shits that looks very awesome. We went to visit a tomb too, it's a tomb for memorizing a famous father that built up the church. After the tomb, we visited to the cannon wall and have a leisurely walks there. The weather there was good, not hot not cold with some wind.
Before heading back, we're rushing to buy some souvenir, famous almond biscuits and some rou-gan (肉干). We arrived at Macau custom at 5:30pm, we took 15 mins to chop our passports and after that we took 15 mins to shop at the duty-free shop. Hubby bought one Black Label wine and i bought one Estee Lauder's perfume. We arrived at Zhu Hai custom at 6pm, i almost fainted down when i saw the terrible foreigner's line, it's just one lane for foreigners and we took 1 hour 40 mins to step in to Zhu Hai's boundary. We're rushing for the 8pm bus, it's the last bus to Zhong San (中山), if we miss this bus, we need to pay RMB120 for taxi to home. Luckily we still on time to take the last bus.
When we waiting for our turn in Zhu Hai's custom, i was accidentally to break my hubby new bought wine (RMB180), it was so embarrassment scene that i can't forget about my mistake for not holding the plastic bag nicely. No need to say lo, hubby sure face dark dark when his lovely wine was perfused on the floor.
We arrived Zhong San at 9pm and we had Kentucky for our dinner, Oh, Kentucky here is very lousy if compare to M'sia, at least M'sia can have big chicken breast, drumstick or chicken wing, but here just with small small chicken wings, the lady told me Kentucky here only selling chicken wings, opps, i'm so "so-ku" to know this...We were home at 10pm while Joshua was still sleeping all the way long from Zhu Hai to home.
This's my trip to Macau.....normal and tired but it's a cheap trip.
